We're looking for an Accounts Receivable Officer to join our Finance team based at our Toowoomba Support Office, supporting our broader network of businesses including RDO Equipment, Vermeer Australia and Inland Truck Centres.

What You'll Be Doing

As an Accounts Receivable Officer, you will

• Manage customer accounts and follow up outstanding payments via phone, email and written correspondence
• Process payments and assist customers with account enquiries, invoices and statements
• Liaise with operational teams to investigate and resolve customer account disputes
• Complete bank reconciliations and ensure transactions are accurately coded to the correct accounts and business lines
• Support end-of-month processing and ensure outstanding amounts are cleared in a timely manner
• Review customer account applications and open approved accounts
• Process branch petty cash, including office cash and travel advances
• Maintain accurate financial records and support the integrity of the Accounts Receivable ledger
• Deliver professional customer service while building positive relationships across the business

What We're Looking For

We’re looking for someone who

Has some experience in Accounts Receivable, administration, finance or a similar processing-focused role

Is comfortable using computers and learning new systems

Has good attention to detail and can work accurately through processes

Is organised and able to manage competing priorities

Has good written and verbal communication skills

Is confident working through queries and following up when needed

Is willing to learn and develop their knowledge of Accounts Receivable

Can work both independently and as part of a supportive team

Brings a positive, proactive attitude and a willingness to learn
