The Director
- Frontend Engineering is accountable for the end-to-end implementation of
- product-strategy domains across Cockpit and the DKV App. The role ensures
- consistent, scalable, high-quality digital frontends across devices and
- journeys, orchestrating cross-domain delivery through strong engineering
- practices and operational excellence.
Key responsibilities
- Define and drive the frontend execution strategy and roadmap across Cockpit and App, including sequencing, milestones, dependencies, and alignment with Digital priorities.
- Own end-to-end frontend domain delivery, including frontend applications and corresponding BFFs, ensuring cohesive user flows, performance, reliability, and scalable solutions.
- Lead and orchestrate multiple domain-oriented frontend teams, balancing capacity across frontend, BFF, DevOps, QA, migrations, refactoring, and technical debt.
- Drive consistent frontend and BFF delivery through engineering standards, clear integrations, quality practices, and reliable operational routines.
- Ensure build-and-run accountability and budget ownership across frontend and BFF teams, covering monitoring, incident readiness, lifecycle management, and cost control.
