Accounting Associate - STP (US Shift)

Location: INDJZ03 - Pune - Weikfield IT - CITI Infopark

PURPOSE OF ROLE

Would be responsible for some or all of the Accounts payable functions, i.e. PO creation, invoice processing & verification, vendor payments, vendor reconciliation, Vendor Management etc. The role is responsible to coordinate with other teams including other functions to ensure timely resolution of vendor issues.

Executes day to day processing of transactions within defined standard operating procedures with a purpose of achieving service delivery goals for the organization and providing first level support for both technical and functional issues raised by end users. Key user in STP tasks.

Key activities/responsibilities

• PO creation, handling & rectifying errors.
• Invoice processing & verification.
• Vendor payments & allocation to appropriate invoices.
• Vendor reconciliation
• Vendor master data creation
• Resolving invoice queries by coordinating directly with vendors.
• Communicating with stakeholders via email, telephone, VC, etc.
• Should have knowledge of Taxes, VAT, TDS and Tax compliance.
• Achieving agreed KPI results on the above tasks

CRITICAL QUALIFICATIONS/SKILLS/EXPERIENCE

• Masteres/B.Com/M.com graduates with 3-4 years of experience in ‘Accounts Payable’ function
• Technical Skills and Competencies Required
• 3-4 years of ‘Accounts Payable’ experience.
• Prior experience of working on ERP system would be an added advantage.
• Good knowledge of MS office, viz, Word, Excel, etc.
• Familiar with MS Outlook & Internet.
• Good communication skills – should be able to independently communicate with stakeholders via emails, telephone, etc.
• Good personal attributes –Confident & Team player.
