This Position reports to

R&D Team Lead

The R&D Associate Principal Engineer is responsible for designing, developing, validating, and delivering innovative products, technologies, and solutions that align with business objectives and customer requirements. The role requires strong technical expertise, problem-solving skills, cross-functional collaboration, and the ability to lead complex engineering initiatives from concept through production.

This role is contributing to the Process Automation Business of Process control Platform Division for Bangalore.

You will be mainly accountable for

• Design and develop new products, features, and technology solutions.
• Drive technical architecture, design reviews, and engineering best practices.
• Analyse complex engineering problems and provide innovative solutions.
• Translate business and customer requirements into technical specifications.
• Develop prototypes, proof-of-concepts, and production-ready solutions.
• Participate in product lifecycle activities including design, implementation, testing, release, and support.

Qualifications for the role

• 10 to 12 plus years of experience in Research & Development, Product development
• Knowledge of Agile, DevOps, CI/CD, or modern product development practices
• Experience with automation, cloud technologies, AI/ML, MCP Server.
• Exposure and knowledge on technology stacks for enterprise application development
• Knowledge and relevant experience in Product Development processes.
• Proficiency in frontend frameworks such as React, Angular, Vue.js, HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, and TypeScript.
• Experience in backend development using Node.js, .NET Core, Python, or similar technologies.
• Strong knowledge of RESTful APIs, microservices architecture, and distributed systems
• Familiarity with cloud platforms such as Microsoft Azure, AWS, or Google Cloud Platform (GCP).
• Experience with containerization and orchestration technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes.
