Role Summary

The candidate should be well-versed in the Software Testing Life Cycle (STLC) and capable of independently handling testing activities with minimal dependency on the project team. The role requires strong testing knowledge, effective communication skills, and the ability to ensure overall test quality throughout the project lifecycle.

Key Responsibilities

• -Create and maintain test plans, test cases/scripts, and test data.
• -Execute testing activities and perform test result validation.
• -Query database tables for validation purposes.
• -Clean up existing test data and create new test data based on testing requirements.
• -Work independently with minimal dependency on the project team.
• -Identify and highlight risks related to test quality.
• -Automate suitable test scripts, when required, to support regression testing.
• -Collaborate effectively with the project team and communicate testing outcomes clearly.

Professional & Technical Skills

• -Strong understanding of Software Testing Life Cycle (STLC).
• -Experience working in Agile and V-Model lifecycles.
• -Hands-on experience with tools such as Jira, Proxyman, and Postman.
• -Knowledge of test automation and regression testing.
• -Ability to query database tables and perform test data preparation and validation.
• -Good oral and written communication skills.
