Project Role : Quality Engineering Lead

Project Role Description : Leads a team of quality engineers through multi-disciplinary team planning and ecosystem integration to accelerate delivery and drive quality across the application lifecycle. Applies business and functional knowledge to develop end-to-end testing strategies through the use of quality processes and methodologies. Applies testing methodologies, principles and processes to define and implement key metrics to manage and assess the testing process including test execution and defect resolution.

Role Summary

Owns functional test planning and execution for Power Platform solutions, ensuring quality gates are met before release, and defects are tracked to closure.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and execute test plans/test cases for Power Apps (Canvas & Model-driven), Power Automate flows, and Dataverse solutions.
• Validate custom connector and Azure Functions integrations for functional correctness and error handling.
• Perform functional, regression, and browser/mobile compatibility testing.
• Log, triage, and track defects through resolution verify fixes before closure.
• Maintain test evidence and ensure solutions meet the agreed Definition of Done before UAT.
• Collaborate with developers and the Business Analyst to clarify requirements and edge cases.
• Support UAT coordination and release readiness checks.

Required Skills & Experience

• Strong functional/QA testing, preferably on Power Platform or similar low-code applications.
• Hands-on exposure to testing Power Apps, Power Automate flows, and Dataverse-based solutions.
• Understanding of API/integration testing concepts (custom connectors, Azure Functions).
• Experience with defect management and test tracking tools (Azure DevOps/Jira).
• Strong attention to detail with a structured, methodical approach to test design.
• Exposure to Agile delivery environments preferred.
• 15-year full-time education is required.
