Summary

As an Application Tech Support Practitioner, a typical day involves serving as the continuous point of contact between clients and the application or system. This role is committed to maintaining high standards of quality by utilizing excellent communication to ensure the smooth operation of advanced systems. The practitioner carefully identifies client issues and thoughtfully develops effective solutions by leveraging a thorough understanding of the product and its functionalities. This position requires attentiveness to client needs and a proactive approach to problem resolution, fostering a reliable and efficient support environment.

Roles & Responsibilities

• Expected to be an SME, collaborate and manage the team to perform.
• Responsible for team decisions.
• Engage with multiple teams and contribute on key decisions.
• Provide solutions to problems for their immediate team and across multiple teams.
• Coordinate with stakeholders to ensure alignment of support activities with business objectives.
• Mentor junior team members to enhance their technical and problem-solving skills.
• Monitor system performance and recommend improvements to optimize operational efficiency.

Professional & Technical Skills

• Must To Have Skills: Proficiency in VMware Horizon.
• Strong troubleshooting skills related to virtual desktop infrastructure environments.
• Experience in managing and supporting remote desktop services and virtual applications.
• Ability to analyze system logs and diagnose complex technical issues.
• Familiarity with network protocols and security principles relevant to virtualized environments.
• Skilled in collaborating with cross-functional teams to implement effective solutions.

Additional Information

• The candidate should have minimum 5 years of experience in VMware Horizon.
• This position is based at our Hyderabad office.
• A 15 years full time education is required.
