Custom Software Engineer

As a Custom Software Engineer, a typical day involves designing, coding, and improving various components within systems or applications. The role requires working collaboratively within an agile environment to deliver scalable and efficient software solutions that meet unique business requirements. This position emphasizes continuous enhancement and adaptation of software to support evolving organizational goals and user needs.

Roles & Responsibilities

• Expected to perform independently and become an SME.
• Required active participation/contribution in team discussions.
• Contribute in providing solutions to work related problems.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration of software components.
• Maintain high standards of code quality through thorough testing and review processes.
• Continuously monitor system performance and implement improvements to enhance reliability.
• Document technical specifications and processes to support knowledge sharing within the team.

Professional & Technical Skills

• Required Skill: Expert proficiency in Site Reliability Engineering.
• Strong understanding of system architecture and infrastructure automation.
• Experience with monitoring and alerting tools to ensure system health and uptime.
• Proficiency in scripting and automation to streamline operational tasks.
• Knowledge of cloud platforms and container orchestration technologies.
• Ability to troubleshoot complex system issues and implement effective solutions.

Additional Information

• The candidate should have minimum 2 years of experience in Site Reliability Engineering.
• This position is based at our Cebu office.
