  • Develop cost models and benchmarks for labor, materials, equipment, and subcontracted work across multiple disciplines.
  • Produce detailed, resource-loaded P6 schedules that reflect and align with the estimate.
  • Perform post bid and post project analysis to compare estimated vs. actual costs.
  • Apply statistical analysis techniques to drive estimate accuracy.
  • Collaborate with experienced estimators to validate quantities, production rates, assumptions and factors.
  • Support the estimate review and approval process by creating cost summaries, comparisons, charts, and analytical data.
  • Develop dashboards, reports, procedures and process guidelines.
  • Ensure accuracy, consistency, and integrity of estimating and cost data.
  • Establish data standards, definitions, and documentation for estimating inputs.
  • Work with other groups to integrate data (construction, fabrication, project controls, finance, etc.).
  • Collaborate with other Aecon divisions to align account structure, production and benchmarking data.
  • Identify opportunities to improve estimating processes through data, automation, and analytics.
