Position Overview

The Data Officer plays a key role in improving how the organization manages, understands, and uses data. The role focuses primarily on data governance and data quality, with occasional support for data privacy activities. Working closely with business and technology teams, you will help establish clear ownership of data, improve data documentation and catalogue content, implement governance best practices, and drive improvements in data quality monitoring and issue resolution.

A significant part of the role involves working directly with stakeholders across the business to understand their challenges, explain the value of good data management, and help teams adopt practical governance and data quality processes. You will act as a bridge between business and technology teams, translating business needs into clear requirements and helping deliver solutions that improve confidence in data, support regulatory obligations, and enable better decision-making. The role requires strong communication, relationship-building, and problem-solving skills, with the ability to influence change and work independently.

NOTE: Applicants must possess legal authorization to work for our company in the U.S. without the need for immigration sponsorship or otherwise serving as an employer of record for immigration employment purposes. At this time, this role is not eligible for immigration-related employment authorization sponsorship.
