  • Identify emerging trends, risks, and opportunities and translate findings into concise executive-level insights and recommendations.
  • Support executive decision-making through the development of clear, actionable reporting and analytics.
  • Serve as a primary author and coordinator for monthly, quarterly, and ad hoc presentations delivered by the President of AEP Transmission.
  • Develop Board-level materials, executive briefings, conference presentations, strategic updates, and other high-profile communications.
  • Convert large volumes of complex technical, operational, financial, and strategic information into compelling narratives that are easily understood by diverse audiences.
  • Ensure consistency, accuracy, and executive-level quality across all materials presented to internal and external stakeholders.
  • Support the ongoing development, refresh, and advancement of non-financial components of the Transmission Annual Plan.
  • Collaborate closely with the SVP Finance of Transmission and senior leadership to align strategic priorities, performance metrics, and business objectives.
  • Assist in evaluating strategic initiatives, organizational priorities, and business transformation opportunities.
  • Drive special projects and executive requests that support the long-term success of the Transmission organization.

What Makes this Role Unique

  • Direct exposure to the President of AEP Transmission and the Transmission Leadership Team.
  • Opportunity to influence discussions presented to the AEP Board of Directors.
  • Visibility into virtually every aspect of the Transmission business, including strategy, operations, finance, workforce planning, and enterprise initiatives.
  • A unique platform for accelerating professional growth through direct interaction with senior executive leaders.
  • Opportunity to build relationships across multiple businesses and corporate functions throughout AEP.
  • Broad executive exposure that can serve as a launching point for future leadership opportunities.
