The role and what you will work on
You work directly with our Head of IT and AI Systems, between building and advising. We do not just advise clients on AI. We build with it every day: the tools the firm runs on, our own core business systems, and JARVIS, our AI recruiting platform.
Build. Design, build and ship the AI tools ALAIKA runs on, from quick prototypes and automations to full web apps used across the firm. Write prompts and AI logic, test new workflows, and keep everything stable. Working products, not slideware.
Rebuild. We are replacing our legacy enterprise software with our own core business systems. Map how we work today, shape requirements with the people who will use the new systems, and build parts of them yourself.
Scale. Push JARVIS, one of ALAIKA Building’s most advanced ventures, towards international investors. Turn recruiter feedback into features, sharpen positioning against the AI recruiting landscape, and prepare demos and pitch materials.
Advise. Support client engagements across Strategic Transformation and AI & Data Intelligence: research, analysis, slide writing and workshop preparation, alongside experienced consultants and partners.
Own. Own your features and deliverables end-to-end, from user feedback to release. Run testing sessions with real users and turn what you learn into clear priorities. You are not support staff for the seniors.

What you bring
Background. Currently studying Business Informatics, Computer Science, Business, Economics or a related field, top 10% of your class at a top-tier university. Minimum 3rd Bachelor semester.
Proof of building. You have built, tested or launched something: a side project, app, automation or prototype. You work with Claude, Cursor or similar AI coding tools, and web development basics (Python, JavaScript/TypeScript, Vue/Nuxt, SQL) are a big plus. A link beats a description.
Business sense. Solid business understanding and genuine interest in strategy consulting and Financial Services.
Leadership. You have led a team, a club, a project, a cause. We hire people who make things happen.
Analytical edge. Data-driven by default. Structured thinking, clear writing and strong slides. Leverage data to drive decisions, not just decorate slides.
Languages. Fluent in English. German is a strong plus.
