Cyber Fraud Expert

Remote Full-time

Location: US - Remote

At Allstate, great things happen when our people work together to protect families and their belongings from life’s uncertainties. And for more than 90 years, our innovative drive has kept us a step ahead of our customers’ evolving needs. From advocating for seat belts, air bags and graduated driving laws, to being an industry leader in pricing sophistication, telematics, and, more recently, device and identity protection.

The Cyber Fraud Expert plays a key role in identifying, investigating, and reducing cyber-enabled fraud affecting customers, accounts, identities, and digital interactions. This role combines cybersecurity, fraud investigation, risk analysis, and data-driven detection to identify suspicious activity, connect related events across digital channels, and develop actionable findings that support fraud prevention and risk reduction.

The Cyber Fraud Expert investigates complex and emerging fraud activity, assesses risk across customer-facing digital channels, and identifies patterns, vulnerabilities, and control gaps that may enable fraud. The role uses data, analytics, artificial intelligence, and automation to improve detection, accelerate investigations, and identify activity that may not be visible within an individual product or channel.

Success requires strong investigative judgment, technical curiosity, and the ability to translate complex digital activity into clear risk assessments, findings, and recommendations for business, technology, fraud, and cybersecurity partners.

Key Responsibilities

  • Investigate complex cyber-enabled fraud affecting customers, accounts, identities, and digital interactions.
  • Analyze and correlate digital signals to identify suspicious patterns, related activity, and emerging fraud threats.
  • Assess risk across digital channels, identifying vulnerabilities, control gaps, and opportunities to reduce fraud exposure.
  • Use AI, analytics, and automation to enhance fraud detection, accelerate investigations, and identify emerging patterns.
  • Translate investigative findings into actionable detections, indicators, and risk-reduction recommendations.
  • Partner across Cybersecurity, Claims, Product, Technology, and Risk to support coordinated investigation, response, and risk remediation.

Experience

5+ years of experience in cybersecurity, fraud, digital investigations, threat analysis, risk analytics, or a related discipline.

Experience working across multidisciplinary teams to translate investigative findings into risk mitigation, detection, or control improvements.
