Senior MongoDB Database Platform Engineer

Location: Ind – Blr Sez 1 (3Rd, 6Th & 7Th Floor)

We are seeking an experienced Senior MongoDB Database Platform Engineer to join the Database Engineering team and help build, operate, and modernize our enterprise MongoDB platform. This role will be responsible for the design, implementation, automation, security, performance, high availability, backup and recovery, and operational support of MongoDB environments spanning on-premises infrastructure and MongoDB Atlas Platform as a Service (PaaS).

The ideal candidate will have deep MongoDB expertise, strong Linux administration skills, hands-on experience with replica sets, sharded clusters, high availability and disaster recovery, and the ability to partner effectively with application, infrastructure, security, SRE, network, and cloud engineering teams.

MongoDB Platform Engineering

• Design, build, deploy, administer, and support enterprise MongoDB environments across production and non-production landscapes, including on-premises deployments and MongoDB Atlas PaaS.
• Lead MongoDB installation, configuration, patching, version upgrades, migrations, and lifecycle management activities.
• Design and operate MongoDB replica sets and sharded clusters, including appropriate topology, storage, networking, and capacity configurations.
• Define and maintain MongoDB engineering standards, reference architectures, build procedures, operational controls, and best practices.
• Participate in architecture reviews and advise application teams on data modeling, indexing, scalability, resilience, connectivity, and operational readiness.
