Electrical Engineer

Position Overview

ALTIVIA Petrochemicals, LLC is seeking a skilled Electrical Engineer to join our team at our chemical plant located in Haverhill, OH. The ideal candidate will have experience working in industrial or chemical plant environments, with a strong background in electrical systems design, maintenance, and troubleshooting.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain electrical systems and equipment used in the chemical plant operations.
• Perform electrical inspections, testing, and troubleshooting to ensure safe and efficient plant operations.
• Collaborate with process engineers, maintenance teams, and other departments to support plant projects and improvements.
• Ensure compliance with electrical codes, safety standards, and company policies.
• Prepare and review electrical drawings, specifications, and documentation.
• Support installation, commissioning, and startup of electrical equipment and systems.
• Participate in root cause analysis and implement corrective actions for electrical issues.
• Assist in budgeting, procurement, and vendor management related to electrical components and services.
• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or related field.
• Proven experience as an Electrical Engineer in a chemical plant or similar industrial environment.
• Strong knowledge of electrical codes (NEC, NFPA 70E) and safety regulations.
• Experience with electrical design software and tools.
• Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics, P&IDs, and technical drawings.
• Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
• Familiarity with motor controls, instrumentation, and control systems is a plus.
