Summary of the Role

As a Service Reliability Engineer, you will help build, maintain, and optimize cloud-based platforms that support Travel Intelligence, Data Analytics, and Data Engineering solutions. You will work closely with development and engineering teams to improve reliability, automation, scalability, and operational efficiency while supporting secure and resilient cloud environments.

In This Role You’ll

• Design, build, and maintain cloud infrastructure and development platforms on Amazon Web Services (AWS), supporting scalable and reliable application delivery.
• Automate deployment, release, and operational processes using scripting, CI/CD pipelines, and modern DevOps practices.
• Monitor platform health, troubleshoot operational issues, and collaborate with development teams to improve system performance, availability, and security.
• Support containerized and data-driven workloads using technologies such as Docker, Jenkins, Airflow, SQL databases, and AWS services.
• Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives by enhancing tooling, sharing knowledge, and supporting efficient software development and release processes.

About the Ideal Candidate

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering with 7–9 years of experience in Service Reliability Engineering, DevOps, Platform Engineering, or related disciplines.
• Strong experience with AWS services such as Amazon EMR, Amazon Elastic Kubernetes Service (EKS), AWS Batch, Amazon Simple Storage Service (S3), and Amazon Redshift.
• Proficiency in Python and Shell scripting, Linux administration, networking concepts, SQL databases, Git, Jenkins, Docker, and workflow orchestration tools such as Apache Airflow.
• Familiarity with monitoring and observability tools such as Grafana and Nagios, along with cloud infrastructure and configuration management practices.
• Experience collaborating with technical and business stakeholders, solving complex operational challenges, and supporting secure, scalable, and reliable software platforms.
