Stellenbeschreibung

• Verwaltet und überwacht die Funktion des Firmennetzwerkes sowie der Server
• Pflegt und entwickelt Anwendungssoftware
• Stellt die Verfügbarkeit der zum täglichen Betrieb notwendigen Daten sicher
• Führt selbständig alle Arbeiten gemäß seines Berufsbildes aus

Aufgaben und Verantwortlichkeiten

Installation, Betrieb und Wartung der eingesetzten Hard- und Software. Installation von Computern, Druckern,

Bildschirmen und sonstigen EDV-Geräten. Installation und Konfiguration von Betriebssystemen,

Standardsoftware sowie anwendungsspezifischer Software

Betreuung und Weiterentwicklung des firmeneigenen Intranets

Installation, Betrieb und Wartung des Firmennetzwerkes (LAN/WAN)

Führt regelmäßige Aktualisierungen der eingesetzten Software durch (s.g. Updates)

Unterstützt, betreut und berät die Mitarbeiter bei Problemen mit der EDV

Führt administrative Aufgaben in den Bereichen Netzwerksicherheit und Benutzerverwaltung durch.

Installiert, wartet und betreut die Server. Richtet Verzeichnisse ein und vergibt Benutzerrechte. Überwacht die

EDV-Anwender sowie die Computer auf Einhaltung der gültigen EDV-Bestimmungen seitens der US-Armee

sowie Vectrus

Entwickelt und pflegt Anwendungsprogramme für den Auftraggeber sowie Vectrus, basierend auf

Bedarfsanalysen mit dem Auftraggeber, der Geschäftsleitung sowie den Mitarbeitern

Erstellt AS400 Datenbankabfragen und Reports mittels Showcase oder sonstigen Applikationen

Umsetzung und Überwachung von ISO Bestimmungen

Unterstützt bei Bedarf andere Gewerke bei deren Arbeitsaufgaben

Befolgt betriebliche Verfahrensweisen, sowie DIN, EN, UVV, VDE und ISO Normen

Führt alle betrieblich notwendigen Arbeitsdokumente

Nimmt Weiterbildungsmaßnahmen im Interesse der Firma wahr

Führt auf Weisung seines Vorgesetzten andere Tätigkeiten aus, die betrieblich notwendig sind

Erforderliche Qualifikationen

Realschulabschluss oder gleichwertiger Abschluss, abgeschlossene Berufsausbildung als EDV-Techniker, Programmierer, oder in fachverwandten Berufen. Kenntnisse in Microsoft Windows, Microsoft Office, Microsoft SQL Server. Programmierkenntnisse in mindestens zwei höheren Programmiersprache. Kenntnisse in der Entwicklung von Web-Applikationen. Hardwarekenntnisse. Fünfjährige Berufserfahrung in den oben genannten Gebiete

Führerschein Klasse 3 erforderlich

Muß körperlich und geistig geeignet sein, alle Aufgaben auszuführen.

Mehrjährige Erfahrung im Bereich der Datenbanken- und Anwendungsentwicklung

Kenntnisse im Bereich Netzwerkinstallation und Netzwerksicherheit

ORACLE Kenntnisse

Analytische Vorgehensweise bei der Lösung von Problemen

Englischkenntnisse der Stufe 4 erforderlich

Während der Ausführung der Tätigkeiten in dieser Position ist der/die Mitarbeiter/in häufig verpflichtet zu gehen; die Hände zum Greifen, Führen oder Tasten zu benutzen; mit den Händen und Armen zu greifen; zu sprechen oder zu hören sowie zu riechen oder zu schmecken.

Erforderlich sind außerdem das Arbeiten auf Leitern, Gerüsten und Plattformen, Stehen, Bücken und Arbeiten in engen Bereichen; das Heben und Tragen von Werkzeugen und Ausrüstung, die gelegentlich mehr als 40 Pfund (ca. 18 kg) wiegen können.

Zu den spezifischen Sehanforderungen gehören Nahsicht, Fernsicht, Farbsehen, peripheres Sehen sowie die Fähigkeit, den Fokus anzupassen.

Während der Ausführung der Tätigkeiten ist der/die Mitarbeiter/in häufig beweglichen mechanischen Teilen ausgesetzt und gelegentlich nassen und/oder feuchten Bedingungen; großen Höhen; Dämpfen oder Partikeln in der Luft; giftigen oder ätzenden Chemikalien; Außenwetterbedingungen; extremer Kälte; extremer Hitze; sowie dem Risiko elektrischer Schläge. Der Geräuschpegel in der Arbeitsumgebung ist in der Regel moderat.

Job Responsibilities

• Installation, operation and maintenance of the hardware and software in use. Installation of computers,
• printers, monitors and other IT equipment. Installation and configuration of operating systems, standard
• software and application-specific software
• Support and further development of the company intranet
• Installation, operation and maintenance of the company network (LAN/WAN)
• Performs regular updates of the software in use
• Supports, assists and advises employees with IT problems
• Performs administrative tasks in the areas of network security and user administration. Installs, maintains and
• supports the servers. Sets up directories and assigns user rights. Monitors IT users and computers for
• compliance with the applicable IT regulations of the U.S. Army and Vectrus
• Develops and maintains application programs for the customer and Vectrus, based on needs analyses
• conducted with the customer, management and employees
• Creates AS400 database queries and reports using Showcase or other applications
• Implementation and monitoring of ISO requirements
• Supports other trades with their tasks as needed
• Follows company procedures as well as DIN, EN, UVV, VDE and ISO standards
• Maintains all operationally required work documents
• Participates in further training in the interest of the company
• Performs other operationally necessary tasks as directed by his supervisor

Required Qualifications

• Intermediate school certificate (Realschulabschluss) or equivalent; completed vocational training as an IT
• technician, programmer or in a related occupation. Knowledge of Microsoft Windows, Microsoft Office and
• Microsoft SQL Server. Programming skills in at least two high-level programming languages. Knowledge of web
• application development. Hardware knowledge. Five years of professional experience in the areas listed above
• Class 3 driver's license required
• Must be physically and mentally fit to perform all tasks.
• Several years of experience in database and application development
• Knowledge of network installation and network security
• ORACLE knowledge
• Analytical approach to problem solving
• English skills at Level 4 required

Requires climbing on ladders, scaffolding, and platforms standing, bending, and working in cramped areas; lifting and carrying tools and equipment which occasionally may weigh over 40 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, and the ability to adjust focus.

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently exposed to moving mechanical parts. The employee is occasionally exposed to wet and/or humid conditions; high, precarious places; fumes or airborne particles, toxic or caustic chemicals; outside weather conditions; extreme cold; extreme heat; risk and risk of electrical shock. The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate.
