What we are looking for

Amsive is looking for an Email Marketing Analytics Manager to serve as our primary expert in email analytics, working closely with our email team. This is a hands-on individual contributor role for someone who enjoys investigating data, solving problems, and turning findings into recommendations that improve client programs. Strong, direct email analytics experience is essential.

You will own email performance analysis and reporting, guide measurement and testing, and serve as a knowledgeable analytical partner to clients. You will collaborate with Email Operations, Client Experience, and technical teams, bringing analytical depth and clear communication to day-to-day decisions and longer-term strategy.

What you will be doing

  • Own email performance analysis through analyzing campaigns, audiences, segments, and lifecycle programs to explain results and identify opportunities.
  • Investigate complex questions. Evaluate audience fatigue, contact frequency, engagement changes, conversion trends, and program effectiveness.
  • Turn insights into action by recommending improvements to targeting, segmentation, messaging, cadence, and testing in partnership with the email team.
  • Guide testing and measurement strategies. Help define hypotheses, success metrics, audience groups, and holdouts; analyze results and recommend next steps.
  • Build and maintain reliable reporting. Create dashboards and performance reports that clearly explain results, implications, and recommended actions.
  • Ensure data accuracy. Validate reporting, investigate discrepancies, and work with technical teams to resolve tracking and data issues.
  • Lead client analytics discussions. Present findings to clients, answer performance questions, and collaborate directly with client analytics teams.
  • Strengthen team capabilities. Establish practical measurement standards, document approaches, improve current processes and help colleagues interpret email performance.
  • Manage analytical priorities. Balance recurring reporting with deeper investigations across client programs.

Who you are

  • 5+ years of experience in Email Services, Marketing Analytics, or a similar field.
  • Strong, demonstrated experience in email marketing analytics, including independently analyzing complex email programs.
  • Deep understanding of email metrics, audience segmentation, lifecycle performance, and conversion measurement.
  • Experience analyzing engagement trends, contact frequency, and audience fatigue.
  • Strong knowledge of A/B testing, statistical significance, holdouts, and measurement limitations.
  • Proficiency in SQL for accessing, joining, analyzing, and validating data.
  • Experience in email platforms like Salesforce Marketing Cloud, Iterable, Klayvio, Braze, Hubspot, or similar.
  • Experience creating dashboards and reports using business intelligence or data visualization tools.
  • Ability to troubleshoot reporting discrepancies and collaborate with technical teams on resolution.
  • Ability to translate complex findings into clear, practical recommendations.
  • Strong communication and presentation skills, including experience working directly with clients.
  • Comfort working in a small team, taking ownership, and balancing hands-on work with strategic thinking.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Agency experience supporting multiple client email programs.
  • Bachelor’s degree in communications, marketing, or similar field.
  • Familiarity with enterprise email platforms and their reporting and data structures.
  • Experience connecting email engagement with CRM, conversion, revenue, or other business outcomes.
  • Experience improving reporting processes through automation.
  • Knowledge of Ampscript, HTML5, Javascript, CSS3, SQL, and Figma.
  • Salary starting at $100,000/yr, based on skills and experience
  • Unlimited Vacation Time, Annual Sick Days, Annual Personal Days, and 11 Paid Holidays
  • Dental, Vision, and Health Insurance
  • 401(k) with company match program
