About the Role

We're seeking an experienced Senior Manager, AI & ML Delivery to lead the delivery of AI-enabled solutions across ANZ. This is a senior engineering leadership role responsible for accelerating the adoption and value realisation of AI capabilities through hands-on technical leadership, Forward Deployed Engineering practices, and strong engagement with business stakeholders. You'll work at the intersection of business strategy, technology, and customer outcomes, translating complex challenges into scalable, governed and impactful AI solutions.

What will your day look like?

As a Senior Manager, AI & ML Delivery, you will:

Leading Forward Deployed Engineering delivery from problem discovery through production outcomes.

Building and shipping AI-enabled products across DevOps, frontend and backend, using agentic coding as a core engineering practice.

Working directly with business and technology teams to turn complex problems into scalable, production-ready solutions.

Setting engineering standards for architecture, code quality, CI/CD, observability, security and operational resilience.

Rapidly prototyping, validating and iterating solutions with users, then industrialising successful patterns for reuse.

Owning technical delivery end to end while remaining close to the code and unblocking engineers on complex implementation challenges.

Applying provenproduct management practices to define customer problems, prioritise roadmaps, validate value and measure outcomes.

Coaching engineers and lifting capability in agentic software development, modern engineering practices and product thinking.

Communicating technical trade-offs, delivery risks and product outcomes clearly to senior stakeholders.

What will you bring?

To be successful in this role, you will bring

Deep, hands-on software engineering experience across DevOps, frontend and backend, with the ability to lead by coding.

Strong practical fluency in agentic coding, including the effective use of AI coding agents across the software delivery lifecycle.

Proven experience leading FDE or similarly hands-on engineering teams delivering solutions in complex enterprise environments.

Industry-proven product management experience, with a track record of taking products from discovery and prioritisation through delivery, adoption and measurable outcomes.

Strong architecture and engineering judgement across APIs, cloud platforms, CI/CD, testing, observability, security and production operations.

A product mindset: customer obsessed, outcome focused, comfortable testing assumptions quickly and changing direction based on evidence.

The ability to move seamlessly between code, product decisions and stakeholder conversations without becoming a coordination-only leader.

Excellent communication, facilitation and influencing skills, with the ability to make complex technical decisions clear and actionable.
