About the Role

This role sits at the intersection of Pricing, Product, Risk, Compliance, Operations and Technology, ensuring pricing decisions are translated into successful business outcomes for customers and the organisation. You'll assess impacts, support implementation planning, manage stakeholders, and coordinate the delivery of pricing changes from concept through to execution.

Working across a broad stakeholder group, you'll help ensure pricing initiatives are delivered safely, effectively, and in line with customer, commercial, operational, and regulatory requirements.

What will your day look like?

Support Pricing Change Delivery

• Facilitate the end-to-end delivery of pricing and product change initiatives across multiple banking products and customer channels.
• Translate approved pricing decisions into practical implementation approaches that deliver the intended customer and business outcomes.
• Assess business impacts, implementation risks, dependencies, and readiness requirements associated with pricing changes.
• Coordinate stakeholders across Product, Pricing, Risk, Compliance, Operations, and Technology to ensure successful delivery.
• Drive implementation readiness and ensure pricing changes are delivered accurately, safely, and in accordance with governance requirements.

Enable Pricing Automation and Continuous Improvement

• Apply deep product, pricing, and business process knowledge to identify opportunities to automate pricing activities and operational processes.
• Design and implement automated solutions that improve the efficiency, accuracy, and scalability of pricing delivery and operational controls.
• Translate complex pricing rules, business logic, and policy requirements into automated workflows and application logic.
• Develop and enhance Python-based tools, SQL solutions, and business applications that support pricing implementation, validation, monitoring, and operational activities.
• Work closely with technology specialists to ensure business requirements are effectively translated into sustainable and supportable solutions.
• Continuously improve data flows, controls, and automation practices that reduce manual effort and operational risk.

Assess Business Impacts and Drive Change

• Identify implications for products, channels, policies, processes, and frontline teams.
• Develop implementation and change management plans that support successful adoption and business readiness.
• Provide recommendations and insights that support informed business decision-making.

Manage Governance, Risk and Operational Effectiveness

• Ensure pricing initiatives are delivered within governance frameworks and regulatory obligations.
• Manage implementation risks, controls, assurance activities, and stakeholder communications throughout the change lifecycle.
• Monitor pricing outcomes and operational performance to ensure business objectives are achieved.
• Support ongoing enhancement of pricing capability, operational effectiveness, and customer outcomes.

What will you bring?

To grow and be successful in this role, you will ideally bring the following:

• Experience managing complex business change, pricing, product, or transformation initiatives.
• Strong understanding of pricing principles, business rules, customer impacts, and operational processes.
• Demonstrated ability to translate business requirements into practical implementation and automation solutions.
• Experience developing Python-based automation, business tooling, or workflow solutions.
• Practical experience in SQL to support pricing implementation, validation, and operational processes.
• Experience developing and enhancing business applications using modern web frameworks such as React.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to understand complex pricing logic and business processes.
• Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.
• Experience working across business and technology teams to deliver business outcomes.
• Knowledge of banking, lending, deposits, pricing, financial services, is highly desired.
