GENERAL DESCRIPTION OF ROLE

Your Impact as technical consultant

This person is responsible for defining architectural principles and providing a vision (both within and across projects) for systems to be designed and built around those architectural principles. Provides technology solutions to business problems that span multiple applications / products. Establishes a technology vision for the organization and can be part of a team that drives adoption of best-in-class application design patterns. Collaborates with leads, technology teams, business colleagues, third party partners, and suppliers to form and agree on the right solution and serves as mentor to technology staff.

• Understanding existing design patterns and standards and applying them when creating solutions for the business.
• Facilitating the assessment of business requirements and proposes various options for satisfying business requirements while remaining compliant to standards
• Leads the development of technology requirements in collaboration with business analysts
• Leads analysis, design (including prototyping), development and deployment of complex business specifications, working with other members of the project team.
• Support product, development and delivery teams on functional & technical code specifications
• Supports vendor resources including other architects and developers on delivery of technology solutions.
• Develops and maintains an ongoing and deep knowledge of relevant technologies, and researches new technologies, in order to actively contribute to such discussions as how Aon can maximize the value it gets from these technologies.
• Provides technical leadership to global application development delivery teams. Coaches / mentors less experienced developers and architects.
• May manage a team of colleagues with responsibility for talent acquisition, performance management, and colleague development activities for team

Education

Graduate/Master’s in computer science

Experience – 10+ years of IT experience with 5+ years in CRM technologies

You bring knowledge & expertise

Required Experience

• Strong Experience with Microsoft Dynamics CRM technology, architecture blueprinting, configuration, conceptual and functional design and implementation
• Experience leading the design, build and deployment of tiered, distributed and scalable enterprise applications using the defined technology stack.
• Excellent knowledge of API construction, web services, C#, web development, OOA and OOD Concepts
• Excellent skills in modern languages across stack (e.g., Node, Ruby, React, Angular, etc.)
• Good experience with Single-Page Applications and front-end developments using AngularJS, , Material Design and Bootstrap
• Experience with SQL, NoSQL, SMSSS and performance tuning.
• Strong knowledge of software implementation and design best practices. (eg Design patterns, UI containers, unit testing etc.)
• Strong experience designing and working with n-tier architectures (UI, Business Logic Layer, Data Access Layer) along with some experience with service-oriented architectures (SOA) This person is required to be dynamic and be a quick eager learner as knowledge about new technologies will need to be acquired on the spot
• Knowledge in Agile project management methodologies

Preferred Experience

• Experience with the cloud computing and both SaaS and PaaS applications
• Experience working with vendor resources on project deliverables
• PCF, Mulesoft, Azure, AWS experience
• Experiences with code refactoring, design patterns, domain-driven development, continuous deployment, automated testing, highly scalable applications, application security
• Deep skill in engineering best-practices, DevOps, scalable API microservices, and Twelve-Factor App
• Experience in the Employee Benefits, insurance technology market, financial services, related business systems
