Westpac Finance/FinTech

Associate Director, Pursuit Manager - Global Transactions Services

Sydney, Australia In person Full-time

Create your best future and join Westpac as an Associate Director, Pursuit Manager - Global Transactions Services

What’s the role?

As an Associate Director, Pursuit Manager, you’ll play an important role in helping Westpac’s Global Transaction Services team win new business and strengthen relationships with institutional clients.

You’ll lead the development of compelling bids and tender responses, bringing together complex information and turning it into clear, persuasive content that reflects each client’s needs and Westpac’s value proposition. You’ll work closely with Deal Leads and stakeholders across Product, Legal, Compliance, Risk, Pricing, Marketing and Corporate Affairs, coordinating contributions and keeping pursuits moving to deadline.

Beyond bids and tenders, you’ll support client pitches and presentations, help develop and maintain high-quality content, and ensure sales materials are clear, consistent and ready for use.

This is a permanent opportunity based in Sydney, with three days in the office offering broad exposure across Westpac Institutional Bank and the opportunity to build your network across the organisation.

What do I need?

You’ll be comfortable taking ownership of complex pursuits, bringing people and information together to create clear, compelling proposals that respond to client needs.

Experience leading complex tenders, RFPs and proactive proposals, with the ability to manage the process from initial brief through to final submission.

Strong project management and stakeholder management skills, with the confidence to coordinate multiple contributors, priorities and deadlines.

Experience within banking or financial services, with an understanding of the needs of institutional or business banking clients.

Strong written communication and content development skills, including creating client proposals, pitch presentations and persuasive sales content.

An understanding of transactional banking would be highly regarded, alongside the ability to quickly learn complex products and translate technical information into clear, client-focused messaging.
