About the role: Permanent full-time opportunity, with hybrid working based out of our Adelaide, Brisbane or Toowoomba Head Offices.
We’re looking for a curious and versatile Reporting & Administration Analyst to join our Operations Enablement team. You’ll own the delivery of divisional reporting, governance artefacts and practical delivery support across Operations.
You’ll go beyond producing reports. You’ll be curious about what the data is telling us, proactively identify trends, gaps and emerging risks, and advise stakeholders on how information can be used to support better decisions. You’ll also apply strong governance and assurance capability to ensure reporting, registers, templates, procedures and other artefacts are accurate, current and fit for purpose.
Working under the direction of the Lead, Operations Delivery Support, you’ll support the structure and discipline that good project and operational delivery requires. This includes creating and improving templates, registers, artefacts, procedures and supporting materials that make delivery easier to manage, assure and report. The work is varied, so you’ll need to enjoy using your skills across reporting, data analysis, governance, assurance, coordination and delivery support.
This role is for someone who genuinely enjoys collating, understanding and interpreting data, then representing it in a clear, powerful and meaningful way for stakeholders. You’ll work across multiple reporting channels to provide leaders and forums with trusted information on operational performance, delivery commitments, priorities, risks and actions.
Your responsibilities will include
- Owning the design, production and continuous improvement of regular and ad-hoc reporting across multiple channels
- Working with stakeholders and facilitating workshops to understand their data, reporting and insight needs
- Collating, analysing and interpreting operational and delivery data to identify trends, risks and improvement opportunities
- Translating data into clear, meaningful and decision-ready insights for Operations leaders and governance forums
- Proactively advising stakeholders on how reporting and data can be used to improve visibility, prioritisation and decision-making
- Owning and maintaining governance artefacts, key deliverables registers, actions, templates, procedures and project documentation
- Supporting governance and delivery assurance by identifying gaps, inconsistencies, risks and opportunities to improve the quality of outputs
- Coordinating reporting inputs, forum materials, actions and supporting information to keep operational and project delivery activities running smoothly
- Applying your skills flexibly across reporting, analysis, governance, assurance, administration and delivery support activities
About you
You’re a curious and proactive analyst who enjoys getting into the detail, understanding what the data means and presenting insights in a way that is meaningful to others and drives action. You take pride in producing accurate, well-structured work and are comfortable asking questions, testing assumptions and identifying opportunities to improve how information is used. You bring strong governance and assurance discipline, understand what effective project delivery support looks like, and enjoy the variety of applying your capabilities across a broad range of tasks.
You will bring
- 3+ years’ experience in reporting, data analysis, governance, business analysis, project coordination or a related delivery support role
- Demonstrated ability to obtain, collate, analyse, interpret and communicate data-driven insights to a variety of stakeholders and reporting channels
- Strong reporting and data visualisation capability, including proficiency in Microsoft 365 applications and Power BI
- The ability to move beyond raw data and identify trends, risks, opportunities, insights and practical implications for the business
- Experience supporting governance and assurance activities, with strong attention to detail, accuracy, consistency and record management
- An understanding of project delivery practices and experience creating or maintaining templates, registers, procedures, artefacts and supporting documentation
- Strong stakeholder consultation, written communication and report-writing skills, including for senior leadership audiences
- A curious, positive and self-starting approach, with the versatility to work across varied priorities and tasks
- Financial services experience and sound knowledge of banking operations, risk and regulatory requirements
- Relevant tertiary or project management qualifications, such as AgilePM or Lean Six Sigma, will be regarded favourably
