Our World Wide Sales Business Transformation group focuses on implementing strategies, programs, tools, and processes that enable the business to drive sales, improve customer experience, and innovate the way we lead and support one of the largest channel operations in the world.

We are seeking a highly organized, technically fluent Engineering Project Manager / Solution Architect to drive the architectural vision and execution of complex enterprise projects. In this role, you will be the driving force behind our engineering delivery and system design, ensuring that sophisticated technology solutions—including emerging Artificial Intelligence (AI) and Machine Learning (ML) capabilities—are built, integrated, and deployed successfully.

You will partner with Product Managers, Data Scientists, Software Engineers, and Enterprise Architecture teams to break down complex business requirements into actionable architectural milestones, manage cross-functional dependencies, and ensure technical excellence and on-time delivery.

In this role, you will

  • Drive System Design & Architecture: Specify and design solutions across business areas or systems. Evaluate and undertake impact analyses, present different design options on all major design projects, and assess associated risks. Ensure that the system design balances functional, service quality, observability, security, and systems management requirements.
  • Integrate AI & Emerging Tech: Drive the architectural evaluation and integration of AI capabilities (such as Generative AI, RAG systems, and automation workflows) into existing sales and business processes to improve operational efficiency and customer experience.
  • Continuous Upskilling & Research: Stay at the forefront of industry trends, proactively upskilling and researching emerging technologies. Translate these new technology trends into informed, forward-thinking solution architecture recommendations for leadership.
  • Develop Architecture Artifacts: Maintain and manage architecture models, frameworks, and artifacts (e.g., current and future state application architecture diagrams, data models). Lead application rationalization and cataloging for the business domain.
  • Manage Cross-Functional Dependencies: Partner closely with Software Engineering, Data Science, UX/UI, Enterprise Architecture, and Information Security teams. Proactively identify, track, and mitigate execution risks and technical blockers before they impact project timelines.
  • Evaluate Buy v/s Build Decisions: Lead efforts for new software selection including development of RFI/RFP, review and evaluation of commercial software solutions, lead proof of concepts, and execute evaluation matrices through final recommendations.
  • Analyze Business Process Feasibility: Analyze multi-functional business processes; identify alternative solutions, assess feasibility, and recommend innovative approaches via technology enablement. Contribute to solution scoping and effort sizing.

Typically requires 6+ years of experience in Solution Architecture, Engineering Program Management, Technical Project Management, or a related role within software engineering organizations.

Proven track record of designing, solution, and manage the delivery of complex, distributed enterprise software or data-driven products.

Demonstrated passion for continuous learning and upskilling, with a strong interest or proven baseline experience in integrating AI/ML ecosystems (GenAI, LLMs, prompt engineering) into enterprise systems.

Strong technical fluency and the ability to create and understand architectural diagrams, data models, API integrations, and the software development life cycle (SDLC).

Exceptional organizational skills and expertise in agile methodologies and project management tools (e.g., Jira, Confluence, Wrike, or similar).

Outstanding communication and presentation skills, with the ability to translate deeply technical jargon and architectural concepts into business impact for executive stakeholders.

Ability to lead through influence, quickly establishing trust and credibility across matrixed technical and non-technical teams.

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, or equivalent practical experience.

Background in sales analytics, go-to-market strategies, sales operations, or CRM ecosystems (e.g., Salesforce, SAP).

Direct experience managing the architectural design or deployment of cloud platforms and applications into production environments.

Experience with cloud platform, system integrations, and CI/CD deployment processes to better anticipate project timelines and architectural constraints.

Understanding of data privacy, enterprise security reviews, and compliance requirements related to AI and enterprise data governance.

Certifications in Cloud Platforms like Salesforce (Platform App Builder, Developer, or Architect), Enterprise Architecture (e.g., TOGAF), Cloud Platforms (e.g., AWS Certified Solutions Architect), or PMP, CSM, or related agile/program management certifications.

Master's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or a related technical field.
