Imagine what you can do here. Apple is a place where extraordinary people gather to do their lives best work. Together we create products and experiences people once couldn't have imagined, and now, can't imagine living without. It's the diversity of those people and their ideas that inspires the innovation that runs through everything we do.
APPLE INC has the following available in Cupertino, California and various unanticipated locations throughout the USA. Involve in specifications of analog portions of IC and ensure optimized whole system solutions, instead of just an IP level optimization, and interact closely with system engineer. Perform behavioral modeling to validate architectures, using MATLAB/Cadence/Spectre/Simulink/System Verilog tools to perform such tasks.
Craft blocks and document design towards formal design reviews. Use Cadence tools and analog fundamental knowledges to enter the block schematic and run simulations to verify the performances and do the right tradeoffs. Drive mask design to implement layout view of designs. Work with layout engineer and supervise the layout and apply knowledge of deep submicron technology. Apply Top-level simulations to validate top-level integration.
Run layout based extractions using tools QRC and start-RC, and verify the performances. Understand the Electro-Magnetic (EM) flow, reliability/aging flows. Define production/bench-level test-plans. Work with test engineers and production engineers to drive PCB design and choose the right off chip component for the test. Use automation tool such as Tableau to review results. Take lab measurements to validate analog designs operate oscilloscope, logic analyzer, etc.
Drive and review yield/lab test results to drive bug fixes. Work with test engineers to understand the production fabrication defects, patterns, antenna rules, etc to enhance the chip yield. 40 hours/week. At Apple, base pay is one part of our total compensation package and is determined within a range. This provides the opportunity to progress as you grow and develop within a role. The base pay range for this role is between $184,700 - $277,600/yr and your base pay will depend on your skills, qualifications, experience, and location.
PAY & BENEFITS: Apple employees also have the opportunity to become an Apple shareholder through participation in Apple’s discretionary employee stock programs.
