Pricing Lead

The Pricing Lead is responsible for defining and maintaining pricing framework in collaboration with Product Managers and Sales Managers. She/He will ensure competitiveness, profitability, and consistency across markets and clients segments. The role ensures competitive, consistent, and data-driven pricing decisions across the organization.

The Pricing Lead plays a key role in enhancing commercial performance by providing pricing insights, improving pricing tools and methodologies, and supporting strategic bids and business opportunities.

KEY RESPONSABILITIES

Pricing Strategy & Governance

• Develop and maintain pricing frameworks, methodologies, and governance standards across the organization.
• Ensure pricing policies are consistently applied across regions, business units, and service lines.
• Support the definition and execution of pricing strategies aligned with business objectives and market conditions.
• Drive initiatives to improve pricing maturity and commercial excellence.
• Identify project risks and unique selling points during offer review processes, ensuring comprehensive evaluation of each opportunity.
• Organize and coordinate the definition of pricing policies with product managers, establishing reference prices for each service and ensuring consistency across the organization.
• Analyze the implementation of pricing policies to ensure consistency and effectiveness across the organization.

Commercial Support

• Provide pricing guidance and recommendations for strategic opportunities, key accounts, and complex proposals.
• Support Sales teams during negotiations by evaluating pricing scenarios, margins, and profitability impacts.
• Review and challenge pricing assumptions to ensure sustainable business growth.
• Collaborate with Business Development and Account Management teams to optimize commercial outcomes.

Analytics & Reporting

Monitor pricing performance, profitability, discount levels, and market competitiveness, providing insights and recommendations to support decision-making.

Develop pricing KPIs, dashboards, and management reports.

Process Improvement & Tools

Drive continuous improvement of pricing processes, tools, and reporting capabilities, ensuring data accuracy and operational efficiency.

Collaborate with IT, Digital, and Sales Operations teams to enhance pricing and quotation systems.

Cross-Functional Collaboration

Partner with Finance, Product Managers, Business Units, and Sales teams to align pricing strategies with profitability and business objectives.

Act as the organization's pricing expert, supporting commercial teams and promoting pricing best practices.

REQUIREMENTS

• Minimum 5 years of experience in commercial, controlling or pricing roles
• Strong understanding of commercial processes and contract law
• Proficiency in data analysis and CRM platform usage
• Advanced Excel skills for financial modeling and objective setting
• Excellent coordination and communication skills to work across multiple departments and geographies
• Experience in automotive or engineering services industry (preferred)
• Strong analytical mindset with attention to detail
• Fluent in English (additional languages are a plus)
