Are you commercially minded, organised and passionate about delivering value through effective contract and supplier management?

CrossCountry is looking for a proactive and detail-focused Turbostar Contracts Delivery Manager to support the commercial and contractual management of our fleet-related agreements within the Fleet & Safety function.

This is an exciting opportunity to play an important role in supporting the performance, governance and commercial effectiveness of our supplier and maintenance contracts. Working closely with internal teams and strategic suppliers, you will help ensure contractual commitments are delivered, value for money is achieved and our fleet operations receive the support they need.

If you enjoy working with data, building strong relationships, identifying opportunities for improvement and keeping commercial activities on track, this could be the role for you.

What you'll be doing

You will play a key role in supporting the effective delivery and management of fleet contracts, helping to ensure our commercial arrangements deliver the right outcomes for the business.

Your responsibilities will include

  • Contract & Supplier Management: Support the day-to-day management of fleet supplier and maintenance contracts, ensuring contractual obligations, deliverables and service levels are effectively monitored.
  • Performance & Improvement: Monitor supplier performance through KPIs, service reviews and reporting, identifying trends, addressing concerns and highlighting opportunities for improvement.
  • Commercial Governance: Maintain accurate contract documentation, including variations, extensions, correspondence, obligations and governance records.
  • Financial Management: Support commercial administration activities, including purchase orders, invoice validation, accruals and reconciliation of contract expenditure.
  • Commercial Analysis: Prepare reports, benchmarking, commercial evaluations and business case information to support procurement, contract renewals and business decisions.
  • Supplier Engagement: Coordinate supplier and stakeholder meetings, ensuring actions are followed through and strong working relationships are maintained.
  • Risk & Change Management: Support contract change control, claims, disputes and risk registers, escalating issues where appropriate.
  • Stakeholder Collaboration: Work closely with Fleet, Safety, Engineering, Finance, Procurement and Operational teams to ensure contracts support business priorities and operational requirements.
  • Reporting & Assurance: Provide clear analysis of supplier performance, costs, commercial risks and contractual matters to support the Head of Fleet Commercial.
  • Procurement Support: Assist with tendering and procurement activities, including information gathering, documentation and evaluation processes.
  • Compliance & Audit: Ensure commercial activities meet company governance requirements, delegated authorities and relevant rail industry standards, supporting internal and external audits when required.
  • You'll also build effective relationships across the business and with key suppliers, helping to promote collaboration, accountability and continuous improvement.
  • The role includes an on-call requirement and other reasonable commercial and contract management responsibilities in support of the Fleet & Safety function.

What we're looking for

We're looking for someone who combines strong commercial awareness with excellent organisational, analytical and communication skills.

You'll ideally bring

  • Experience supporting contract management, supplier management, commercial administration or procurement, preferably within a regulated, engineering, transport or operational environment.
  • A good understanding of contract administration, commercial governance and supplier performance management.
  • Strong numerical and analytical skills, with the ability to interpret information, identify trends and maintain accurate records.
  • Excellent organisational skills and the ability to manage competing priorities and deadlines.
  • The ability to produce clear, professional reports, correspondence and contractual documentation.
  • Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office, particularly Excel, Word and PowerPoint.
  • Experience using contract management, finance or procurement systems.

It would also be advantageous if you have

  • Knowledge or experience of the rail industry, rolling stock, fleet maintenance or transport contracts.
  • A relevant commercial, procurement or contract management qualification, or a willingness to work towards one.
  • Why join us?
  • This is an opportunity to make a real contribution to the commercial performance and effective delivery of CrossCountry's fleet arrangements.
  • You'll work with a wide range of stakeholders and suppliers, gain exposure to important commercial decisions and help drive improved contract performance, accountability and value for money across our Fleet & Safety function.
  • If you're commercially aware, enjoy building relationships and want to play a part in supporting the delivery of a reliable and effective rail service, we'd love to hear from you.
