Director-Sales System Engineer

• Location: San Jose, California
• This is a full-time onsite role based in the location(s) posted and is performed from the designated work location five days per week. No relocation is offered.
• Overall Purpose: Leads and supervises a team of engineers to design, implement, and optimize advanced technical sales solutions, ensuring successful customer integration of company products and services.
• Key Roles and Responsibilities: Typical tasks may include, but are not limited to, the following:

• Team Leadership and Development: Direct and supervise engineers, manage performance, and foster professional development for team growth.
• Technical Expertise and Customer Consultation: Provide advanced technical guidance and consultation on designing, customizing, and implementing complex solutions.
• Customer Integration and Support: Ensure successful product integration, deliver quality pre/post-sales support, including consulting, demos, and addressing inquiries.
• Project Management and System Optimization: Lead deployment projects, manage technical sales solutions, align them with business goals and cost objectives, and identify enhancement opportunities.
• Training and Documentation: Develop training programs, drive continuous improvement, and maintain comprehensive documentation, generating performance reports.

Job Contribution: Designs and executes strategies that support the overarching philosophy of the organization. Manages large sales teams and account modules and/or territories. Supervising supervisors as well as career-level staff within the organization. Develops sales plans and achieves regional objectives. Oversees execution, resolves complex issues, and negotiates with senior stakeholders and major customers. Responsible for influencing decisions regarding the hiring, firing, disciplinary action, promotional activity, and pay decisions for subordinates. Supervisor: Yes

Education/Experience: Bachelor’s degree (BS/BA) desired. 10+ years of related sales experience.
