Your role

As our next Smart Factory Manager at Edwards Korea Ltd within the Semiconductor Division, you will play a pivotal role in advancing our vacuum technique manufacturing processes. Reporting directly to the department leadership, your core mission is to lead the digital transformation and optimization of our production systems, ensuring seamless integration of smart technologies to maximize efficiency and quality. Your expertise will be instrumental in shaping innovative solutions that drive the future of manufacturing excellence.

Your day-to-day

• Lead the implementation and continuous improvement of smart factory initiatives, including automation and data analytics.
• Collaborate cross-functionally with production, engineering, and IT teams to identify process enhancements.
• Manage and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) to assess the effectiveness of smart factory solutions.
• Develop strategies for technology adoption that align with business goals and operational capabilities.
• Facilitate training and knowledge sharing to promote adoption of new tools and systems among team members.
• Ensure compliance with all relevant manufacturing and safety standards while innovating processes.

Your skills and experience

• Proven experience in smart factory management, manufacturing automation, or related fields within production environments.
• Strong understanding of Industry 4.0 technologies, including IoT, AI, and data analytics applications in manufacturing.
• Demonstrated ability to lead cross-disciplinary teams and drive change in complex organizational settings.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and a results-driven mindset with a focus on continuous improvement.
• Effective communication skills, comfortable engaging with both technical experts and senior leadership.
• Fluency in English is preferred; proficiency in Korean is advantageous for on-site collaboration.
