Your role

We are seeking a CPQ Support Engineer who will contribute to the support efforts within the CPQ Support team . In this role, you will be the technical backbone ensuring that our Configure, Price, Quote (CPQ) environment seamlessly communicates with SAP C4C and underlying SAP ERP system. You will triage, debug, and resolve complex application errors, data sync failures, and pricing mismatch issues, directly supporting our global service sales operations team to keep the Quote-to-Order pipeline moving.

Your day-to-day

Key Responsibilities

Ticket Queue Management

  • Monitor, troubleshoot, and resolve incoming tickets
  • Ticket Triage: Resolve Tier 2/Tier 3 tickets where quotes or sales orders fail to transfer from CPQ back to C4C or fail to trigger document generation and approval workflows.
  • Accurately document issues and efficiently escalate tickets to senior team members, or relevant cross-functional teams.

Problem solving

  • Root Cause Analysis: debugging & analyzing system logs, ability to investigate middleware issues (e.g. mappings to identify if an issue stems from core application behavior, custom scripting, or integration network layers)
  • Identify and troubleshoot data integration sync errors between the CPQ platform and connected enterprise systems, reviewing system messaging and data payloads to resolve connection failures.
  • Master Data Troubleshooting: investigate and fix issues related to master data replication, ensuring that product catalogs, business partners, account hierarchies, and pricing conditions match perfectly between C4C and CPQ.
  • Collaboration & communication: Partner with CPQ developers and other business application teams to solve problems
  • Participate in regular update activities: regression-test system upgrades, etc.

Your skills and experience

Required Skills & Qualifications

  • 3+ years of technical application support experience, with a proven track record of supporting a CPQ platform integrated a CRM and ERP (SAP C4C, SAP ERP would be a plus)
  • Strong analytical skills
  • Hands-on experience with debugging activities: REST/SOAP/ODATA APIs, good understanding of Python, interpreting XML/JSON payloads.
  • Good understanding of CPQ Logic: product modeling, configuration of attributes, constraints, document generation tagging logic, pricing procedures (such as SAP variant configuration or condition techniques) and Python scripting
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English, with a proven ability to provide high-quality, clear, and professional updates to all stakeholders.
  • Good understanding of process knowledge - familiarity with the end-to-end Quote-to-Order business process is a plus

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with SAP CPQ (formerly CallidusCloud) and scripting languages like Python used for custom pricing or validation rules.
  • Familiarity with SAP ERP/S4HANA backend processing (e.g., how a quote in CPQ creates a follow-up Sales Order in SAP ERP via C4C).
  • Understanding of SAP integration technologies, specifically SAP CPI (Cloud Platform Integration) is a plus
  • Experience utilizing enterprise ticketing and ITIL frameworks (such as ServiceNow) for SLA-driven incident management.
