Technology Foundations Lead

Pune, India In person Full-time

Pune, Burgess Hill, Koln

India, Germany, UK - United Kingdom

Your day-to-day

Consolidate the foundation roadmaps of the Vacuum AI streams into one AI foundations roadmap, and lead execution against it so delivery does not slip.

Bring together demand from the business, the AI product teams and the Vacuum AI streams. Priorities come from the business and the product teams; you smooth conflicting and overlapping requests into one sequence, so platform leaders can focus on their platforms.

Agree the order of modernisation with the Data & Integration platform teams, based on the Vacuum AI roadmaps.

Build and lead ring-fenced fast-track teams that deliver new data products and integrations to the platform architects' designs and hand them over to the platform teams to accept into production, own and run.

Coordinate the business cutover with legacy platform owners, so they can retire legacy systems once the new data products are accepted into production.

Act as the bridge across architects on decisions that affect the AI foundation: bring them to Enterprise Architecture and keep them moving, so consensus-seeking never stalls delivery.

Run a regular forum where dependencies that matter to Vacuum AI are raised and escalated for faster decisions.

Unlock investment: build the technology business case with platform leads and product owners, track spend and benefits, and report progress, risks and decisions to executive leadership.

Plan the capability and capacity needed across internal teams and strategic partners.

  • Extensive experience leading large, multi-stream technology programmes or portfolios, with a track record of delivering against a roadmap.
  • Experience building and leading engineering delivery teams, including partner capacity.
  • Credibility with architects and engineers in modern data and integration: data platforms such as Databricks, Azure integration services, APIs and events, and SAP integration.

  • We encourage you to apply even if you don't meet every single requirement. We value diverse experiences and perspectives and are excited to see what you bring to the role.
