The role combines strategic sales, digital marketing, customer lifecycle management and network development to drive sustainable growth in service revenue, customer retention and market penetration.

The focus goes beyond selling individual services to developing a scalable, data-driven service business across the entire lifecycle of the installed base:

You will work closely with Operations, Product Sales and Marketing to unlock the potential of our entire service portfolio and create lasting value for our customers.

Your day-to-day

  • Developing and implementing a clear service sales and go-to-market strategy to systematically unlock the potential of the installed base
  • Developing upselling, cross-selling and repeat-selling approaches for existing customers, with a particular focus on recurring, data-driven business models
  • Expanding service contracts, maintenance models, calibration, production optimization, software support services and other lifecycle offerings
  • Further developing the Service Sales teams with a clear account and segment focus.
  • Building structured sales funnels from lead generation to contract closure and ensuring consistent and transparent use of our Salesforce CRM system
  • Working closely with sales leaders in other product segments and fostering stronger alignment between product/equipment sales and aftermarket/service sales

Your skills and experience

  • A degree in mechanical engineering, industrial engineering or a comparable technical discipline with a focus on sales and marketing – alternatively, experience in services for industrial joining technology
  • Professional experience in technical sales at an international company and experience with aftermarket, lifecycle or recurring-revenue business models
  • A passion for sales, a strong aptitude for data analytics and BI, and the ability to leverage AI opportunities to develop new solutions and work more efficiently
  • A strong customer focus and a good understanding of customer needs
  • A team-oriented mindset and a collaborative, partnership-based approach to work
  • Good knowledge of Office 365, AI applications and current business intelligence tools
  • Very good written and spoken German and English

  • We encourage you to apply even if you don't meet every single requirement. We value diverse experiences and perspectives and are excited to see what you bring to the role.
