Develop Your Career in Account Management
Following a strong year and an internal promotion, we have an outstanding opportunity to join our Medium Business Account Management team on the Gold Coast.
You’ll manage a portfolio of around 40–50 medium-sized business customers across the Gold Coast and surrounding region. You’ll spend most of your time getting out to customers, understanding their businesses and helping them grow.
And there’s plenty happening in this market.
Australia Post has invested $12 million in a new 15,087m² Gold Coast Parcel Facility. It brings Express Post, Parcel Post, Australia Post Metro and StarTrack Premium together at one site. The facility can process up to 6,000 parcels an hour and up to 90,000 parcels a day during peak periods.
The Gold Coast is Australia Post’s largest posting zone outside the major capital cities. Parcel volumes in the region increased 97% between 2019 and the facility’s opening in 2024.
For an Account Manager, that gives you a strong platform. You’ll have B2B, B2C and international freight solutions at your fingertips, backed by the scale of Australia Post’s sales, account management and delivery network.
About the opportunity
- This is a role for someone who genuinely enjoys working with customers.
- You’ll work directly with business leaders, understand what they’re trying to achieve and find practical ways Australia Post can help them grow.
- You’ll manage an established portfolio while identifying new revenue opportunities and developing new business.
- It’s an opportunity to build your sales career in one of Queensland’s most important eCommerce and parcel markets, backed by significant investment in our local network.

- You’ll be curious about your customers. You’ll want to understand how their businesses work, where they’re going and what might get in their way.
- Commercial thinking matters. So does the ability to learn, solve problems and turn customer conversations into opportunities.
