Commodity Manager for APAC External Manufacturing Procurement

Key responsibilities

Scope and Responsibilities

• Conduct commercial negotiations and cost management initiatives to deliver savings opportunities and protect Avon’s commercial interests.
• Develop and execute Procurement strategies aligned with APAC business requirements and Global Procurement objectives.
• Assist in contract mgmt, supplier governance, and risk mitigation activities to ensure compliance and operational effectiveness.
• Lead supplier development, qualification, and performance management to strengthen supply capability and competitiveness.
• Build and maintain effective relationships with existing and prospective suppliers across APAC.
• Collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders to drive procurement excellence, innovation, and sustainable business outcomes.
• Supports shared-KPI's related to service, quality, innovation, supply assurance, and total cost of ownership.
• Coordinate sourcing activities and support cluster market requirements, new product launches, and business growth initiatives.
• Monitor market trends, supplier capabilities, and industry developments to identify Procurement opportunities and support strategic decision-making.

Profile

• *Bachelor's Degree in Industrial Engineering, Supply Chain, Business, or related discipline
• *5+ yrs of Procurement or Supply Chain experience
• *Strong sourcing, supplier management, and negotiation skills
• *Experience leading cross-functional and multicultural stakeholder engagements
• *Strategic thinker with strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
• *Experience in supplier qualification and development
• *Advantageous to have proficiency in Korean to support supplier engagement
• *Self-motivated, results-oriented, and able to work independently while being an effective team player
