Job overview

Help shape the future of marketing across AXA UK. As Marketing Transformation Lead, you’ll turn our transformation strategy into practical, scalable change. You’ll build the capabilities, standards and ways of working that make marketing more connected, efficient and future-ready. You’ll lead a specialist team and work across our business units to improve delivery, support responsible adoption of artificial intelligence (AI) and technology, strengthen governance and deliver measurable value for customers and our business.

Key responsibilities

  • Lead delivery of the marketing transformation roadmap, turning strategic priorities into clear programmes, outcomes and benefits.
  • Build future-fit marketing capabilities, frameworks and playbooks that support consistent, scalable ways of working.
  • Drive responsible adoption of AI, automation and emerging technology in partnership with Technology, Risk, Compliance and Legal teams.
  • Improve service quality, operational performance and governance using data, stakeholder feedback and continuous improvement.
  • Lead, coach and develop a specialist team, creating a collaborative and accountable culture.
  • Influence senior stakeholders across Marketing, Customer, Proposition, Distribution and Support Functions to secure adoption and deliver change.

Work arrangements

At AXA we work smart, empowering our people to balance their time between home and the office in a way that works best for them, their team and our customers. You'll work at least two days a week (40%) away from home, moving to three days a week (60%) from December 2026. Away from home means attending the office, visiting clients or attending industry events. We’re also happy to consider flexible working arrangements, which you can discuss with Talent Acquisition.

  • Outstanding people leadership and senior stakeholder influencing skills are required.

  • Ability to balance pace and innovation with governance, risk and customer outcomes.
  • Experience in financial services or another regulated environment would be an advantage.
  • As a precondition of employment for this role, you must be eligible and authorised to work in the United Kingdom.
