BAE Systems OneArc Technology/Software

Junior Content QA Analyst - Military training simulation (PRG)

Prague, Czechia Hybrid Full-time

We are a well-established team based in Prague (Czech Republic), developing world-leading military simulations for major NATO powers and their allies. We constantly seek ways to advance the industry using the latest technologies and trends (such as whole-world simulations, motion tracking, VR, and AR).

We believe in saving lives through simulations.

Your job will be totally different from what you expect

Seniors who teach, not take over: You don’t need to be an expert on day one. Our philosophy is that seniors teach juniors how things work rather than doing the work for them. You will have structured 1-on-1 mentorship, space to make mistakes, and a clear path to build a long-term technical QA career.

Hands-on with digital military hardware: Forget testing generic web forms. You will inspect and validate 3D combat vehicles, weapon systems, aircraft, ammunition, and mechanical interactions directly inside our simulation engines.

Under the hood with consoles and logs: You will dive deeper than surface-level black-box clicking. You will use in-engine developer consoles, execute basic scripting commands, and inspect log files to trace the root causes of unexpected behavior.

A sustainable, crunch-free rhythm: Our simulation platforms run on continuous release cycles. That means no toxic crunch periods, no repetitive copy-paste testing day in and day out, and a steady, predictable work-life balance.

Common sense over bureaucracy: We value simple, accessible workflows and face-to-face communication over rigid manuals. If a process stops adding value, we abandon it; if there’s a smarter way to test an asset, we adopt it.

A desk with a purpose: While this role does not require travel, the work you do directly at your desk in Karlín ensures military personnel and first responders can rehearse complex, dangerous operations in complete safety.

Do you think you have what it takes?

Meticulous eye for detail: You naturally spot inconsistencies, especially when checking asset naming conventions, tagging metadata, and documenting defect reproduction steps.

Curiosity for code and logic: You can read, interpret, or write basic script syntax, and you feel comfortable opening developer tools or logs to investigate why something broke.

Structured ticket ownership: You are capable of juggling multiple smaller tickets at once while maintaining clean administration, clear notes, and solid bug reporting standards.

Honest, direct communication: You are comfortable asking questions when you need guidance, escalating blockers early, and communicating openly with developers and teammates.

Analytical persistence: When you find a glitch, you don't just report that it failed; you dig into how and why it happened so the fix is permanent.

Language & Education: Good working proficiency in written and spoken English, paired with a minimum of a high school diploma.

Nice to have

  • Military hardware interest: A genuine curiosity about combat vehicles, aircraft, firearms, ammunition, or machinery mechanics.
  • Simulation & modding background: Experience playing, editing missions in, or modding military simulation games (such as Arma, VBS, Squad, or DCS).
  • Game engine familiarity: Basic exposure to any commercial or proprietary 3D engine (e.g., Bohemia platforms, Unreal Engine, Unity).
  • Testing fundamentals: Prior experience in quality assurance, game testing, or working with issue-tracking tools like Jira.
  • Scripting foundation: Familiarity with basic scripting or programming concepts in any language.

What you get

  • We're not about all hard work and no fun. Our Karlín office is relaxed, friendly, and has no dress code. Below is a snapshot of the perks you'll get as part of our Prague team:

  • Company Rewards: Life milestone celebration gifts ($100), progressive service anniversary awards, and an active employee referral bonus program (up to $3,000).
