Power Platform Engineering Lead

We are seeking a senior Power Platform professional who combines hands-on technical excellence with strategic leadership to deliver secure, scalable, and mission-focused solutions that improve business operations and support critical defense initiatives.

In this role, you will serve as the senior technical authority for Power Platform technologies, responsible for architecture, administration, governance, implementation, operational support, and platform engineering. You will lead the development and sustainment of enterprise Power Apps, Power Automate, Power BI, and Dataverse solutions while ensuring adherence to security, compliance, performance, and lifecycle management requirements.

You will oversee the technical direction of a Power Platform team, establish engineering standards and governance frameworks, conduct architecture and code reviews, troubleshoot complex platform issues, and drive continuous improvement across enterprise automation, data analytics, and business application initiatives.

You'll bring your expertise as a highly technical practitioner with Power Platform administration, solution architecture, enterprise integrations, automation, governance, platform operations, and troubleshooting, coupled with experience leading technical teams responsible for delivering and sustaining enterprise business solutions.

You Have

• 6+ years of experience developing enterprise solutions using Power Apps, Power Automate, and Power BI
• 6+ years of experience administering enterprise Power Platform environments, including governance, security, compliance, licensing, capacity planning, and monitoring
• 3+ years of experience serving as a Technical Lead for solution architecture, platform engineering, implementation, and operational support
• Experience leading teams in the design, development, deployment, support, and sustainment of production Power Platform solutions and managing operational support, incident response, root-cause analysis, and service ticket resolution
• Experience troubleshooting complex Power Platform issues, including Power Apps, Power Automate, Dataverse, integrations, and environment administration
• Experience establishing governance frameworks, development standards, security controls, and best practices across enterprise environments and conducting architecture and design reviews to ensure scalability, security, performance, and maintainability
• Experience developing and integrating enterprise applications, workflows, automation, and analytics solutions including but not limited to Power Fx, DAX, Power Query, Dataverse, APIs, SQL, and REST services
• Experience implementing Application Lifecycle Management (ALM), data governance, security compliance, and change management for enterprise Power Platform solutions
• Secret clearance
• Bachelor’s degree

• Experience utilizing Microsoft Graph API to develop enterprise integrations, automate administrative tasks, support Microsoft 365 services, and extend Power Platform capabilities
• Experience developing administration, reporting, governance, and automation solutions using Microsoft PowerShell
• Experience with Microsoft Fabric, including enterprise analytics, data engineering, data integration, data warehousing, semantic models, and business intelligence solutions
• Experience working with large-scale enterprise data platforms, including Microsoft Fabric, Databricks, SQL-based analytics platforms, and cloud data services
• Experience integrating Power Platform solutions with Microsoft Fabric, Power BI, OneLake, SharePoint Online, Microsoft Teams, and other Microsoft 365 services
• Experience implementing enterprise Power Platform Center of Excellence (CoE) practices, operating models, governance strategies, and adoption frameworks
• Experience with SharePoint Online development, administration, migration, and integration with Power Platform solutions
• Experience working with web development technologies including C#, JavaScript, REST services, JSON, HTML, CSS, React, or Angular
• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related technical field
• Microsoft Power Platform Solution Architect Expert, Microsoft Power Platform Developer, Microsoft Fabric, and Microsoft 365 Administrator Certification

Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual’s particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $99,000.00 to $225,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen’s total compensation package for employees.
