The Cyber Monitoring & Response (M&R) Portfolio is responsible for the capabilities that enable the Bank to detect, investigate and respond to cyber threats. As our cyber program continues to evolve, we are seeking an experienced Project Manager to lead the delivery of strategic initiatives that strengthen the Bank's cyber defence capabilities and operational resilience.

In this role, you will work closely with technical specialists, business stakeholders, project teams, vendors and senior leaders to deliver complex cybersecurity projects and achieve their intended business and operational outcomes.

What you will do

As a Project Manager within the M&R Portfolio, you will:

Lead the end-to-end planning and delivery of complex cybersecurity projects, from initiation and options analysis through implementation, operational transition and benefits realization.

Tailor delivery approaches to project complexity, risk and operational needs, and establish project charters, integrated plans, schedules, budgets, resource forecasts, governance structures and delivery controls.

Identify and manage project risks, issues, scope changes and interdependencies, recommend mitigation strategies, delivery trade-offs and decisions to sponsors and governance committees.

Monitor performance and take corrective action when delivery deviates from approved scope, schedule, budget, quality or intended outcomes.

Prepare and present concise status reports, options, recommendations and decision material to senior management, project sponsors and governance committees.

Partner with clients and stakeholders across Cyber Security, Information Technology and other Bank departments, as well as vendors and external partners, to reconcile competing priorities, build effective relationships and establish shared accountability for project outcomes.

Support portfolio planning by assessing priorities, delivery capacity, resource requirements and dependencies, while ensuring outcomes meet business, cybersecurity, operational-resilience, quality and governance requirements.

Lead implementation readiness and transition to operations, provide project-management guidance to participants, and improve delivery practices, controls and methodologies across the Cyber Security Division.

What you need to succeed

To be successful in this role, you bring significant experience applying project-management practices to deliver complex technology, cybersecurity or operational initiatives in a large enterprise environment. You have demonstrated experience leading multidisciplinary project teams, managing project budgets and resources, establishing governance, and resolving complex risks, issues and interdependencies.

You can analyze ambiguous situations, develop practical options and recommendations, and communicate the implications of delivery trade-offs to senior leaders and governance bodies. You build productive relationships across organizational boundaries, influence stakeholders with differing priorities and maintain accountability for agreed outcomes.

You are experienced in adapting project-management methodologies to suit different delivery environments and in guiding project participants through planning, governance, risk management, implementation and transition to operations.
