• This Is What Your Role Looks Like
• You’ll join the central Data Platform Team, working on the foundation of Basic-Fit’s data landscape.

In a typical week, you might

• build batch and streaming pipelines in Databricks
• continuously improving Databricks, keeping up with the latest technologies
• collaborate with analysts to improve self-service reporting
• automate day-to-day work by leveraging the power of AI
• migrate legacy pipelines to a modern Databricks platform
• optimize performance, cost, governance, and reliability
• support designing data models that are directly consumed in Power BI
• Where you can make an impact

This is not a “keep-the-lights-on” role. You’ll actively shape

• scalable data architecture (Lakeflow Connect, Databricks Apps etc.)
• AI and automation to improve data quality and usability
• self-service analytics across the business
• the future direction of our data platform
• Good ideas don’t stay in slide decks here - they get built.

• Together, you support almost every department at Basic-Fit, enabling teams to act on reliable, well-governed data.
• Who Are You?
• You don’t need to tick every box. You will thrive here if most of this sounds familiar:
• Hands-on experience with Databricks (around 1+ year)
• Curiosity about newest Databricks features (dashboards, apps etc.)
• Understanding of batch vs. streaming data processing
• Strong skills in SQL, PySpark, and Python
• Experience building data pipelines (e.g. with Azure Data Factory)
• Awareness of data quality, governance, and scalability
• Experience and curiosity towards AI and building agents
• Comfortable communicating in English
• Experience with PowerBI or any other reporting tool is a plus
