- Revenue Data and Analytics Manager
- Department: Revenue Operations
- Reports to: Senior Sales Operations Manager
- Dotted line to: Senior Sales GTM Operations and Planning Manager
- Location: London (Hybrid)
- Employment type: Full-time, permanent
- Role type: Individual contributor
About the Role
This role owns the revenue data domain at Bell Integration: the quality, definitions, and governance of the data that sales, marketing, and leadership rely on to plan and execute GTM strategy. It combines hands-on work in Power BI, Python, and SQL with the judgement and influence to set data standards across teams and get them adopted. Strong governance is also what makes our data ready for automation and AI use.
The CRM data needs significant cleanup, so the role begins with building a trusted data foundation, with segmentation and dashboards built on top of it. You will report to the Senior Sales Operations Manager, with a dotted line to the Senior Sales GTM Operations and Planning Manager.
Core Responsibilities
- Revenue data ownership and governance
- Own the revenue data domain, with accountability for the quality, completeness, and consistency of revenue and customer data across the CRM and other revenue systems.
- Define, document, and maintain metric definitions, data standards, field ownership, and data lineage.
- Set data standards and drive their adoption across Sales, Marketing, Finance, and IT, influencing stakeholders to follow them and escalating where needed.
- Identify the root causes of data quality issues and work with Sales Operations to fix them at the source (e.g., field requirements, validation rules, integrations).
- Establish ongoing data quality monitoring so that data stays clean after the initial cleanup.
- Prepare our data for automation and AI use through consistent definitions, complete and well-structured fields, and clear rules on how data is used.
- Own the analytics roadmap and request intake, setting priorities with Sales Operations and GTM Operations and Planning.
- Data cleanup and enrichment
- Scrub, validate, and structure raw datasets from the CRM and other revenue systems, and maintain the cleaned datasets on an ongoing basis.
- Lead data enrichment initiatives to improve the completeness and accuracy of revenue data.
- Use Python and SQL for data manipulation, automation, and ad hoc analysis, and automate recurring data preparation and reporting tasks.
- Customer segmentation
- Own the customer segmentation framework, including methodology, definitions, and refresh cadence, in partnership with GTM Operations and Planning.
- Build and maintain segmentation models, for example by customer potential and market opportunity.
- Turn segmentation outputs into views and lists that sales and marketing can use to prioritize accounts and plan outreach.
- Power BI dashboards and reporting
- Own the Power BI reporting layer as the standard, trusted source of revenue reporting for sales, marketing, and leadership.
- Develop and maintain dashboards and reports that are accurate, auditable, and consistent with finance definitions.
- Gather feedback from users and iterate so dashboards stay relevant and well adopted.
Supporting Responsibilities
- Support the revenue forecast, which is owned by Sales Operations, by providing the trusted data, metric definitions, and pipeline analysis behind it.
- Analyze pipeline, bookings, and win-rate trends, and highlight risks and opportunities.
- Partner with IT and data engineering on data pipelines and CRM.
- Act as a trusted advisor on data to sales, marketing, finance, and leadership, and explain findings clearly to non-technical audiences.
Required
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Economics, Statistics, Data Science, or a related field.
- 5 years of experience in data, revenue, sales, or business analytics, with a record of owning data quality, governance, or a reporting and analytics program.
- Background in an IT reseller, systems integrator, MSP, or distributor, with an understanding of vendor-led and multi-product sales.
- Demonstrated ability to set standards and influence senior stakeholders without direct authority.
- Experience establishing data governance practices such as metric definitions, data standards, ownership, and quality monitoring.
- Strong hands-on skills in Power BI, including data modeling and DAX, as well as Python (e.g., pandas) and SQL.
- Experience working with CRM data (e.g., Salesforce) and cleaning, validating, and structuring messy datasets.
- Excellent communication skills, including presenting recommendations to senior leaders.
Preferred
- Experience with Salesforce reporting and its underlying data model.
- Experience building customer segmentation or propensity models (e.g., clustering, scoring).
- Experience preparing data for automation, analytics, or AI use cases.
- Familiarity with data governance frameworks or tools.
- Experience with data enrichment tools or third-party data sources.
- Familiarity with revenue metrics such as bookings, backlog, and gross margin.
- Experience in IT services, consulting, systems integration, or managed services.
