Purpose

As a Technical Business Analyst within the IP Development team, you will support the delivery of high-quality digital solutions by bridging the gap between business goals and technical execution. Working closely with Product Managers, Developers, and Designers, you’ll contribute to the discovery and definition of product requirements, with a strong focus on technical feasibility and clarity. You will translate user and stakeholder needs into well-structured stories and documentation, ensuring alignment across cross-functional teams. Your work will enable efficient, testable, and scalable implementation, helping to drive product value through clear, actionable analysis.

Role

• Collaborate with technical and business stakeholders to gather, analyse, and document requirements with a focus on solution feasibility.
• Translate business needs into structured epics, user stories, and acceptance criteria, ensuring alignment with technical implementation.
• Support technical discovery by analysing systems, APIs, data flows, and dependencies to inform solution design.
• Assist in backlog grooming, sprint planning, and story refinement with a clear focus on testability and traceability.
• Facilitate workshops, interviews, and working sessions to capture requirements and clarify understanding across teams.
• Work closely with developers, QA, and devops to bridge the gap between business intent and technical execution.
• Participate in solution walkthroughs, test case reviews, and UAT support to validate requirements and ensure quality delivery.
• Maintain up-to-date documentation in JIRA/Confluence and contribute to improving BA processes and templates.

Person

• Strong experience eliciting and documenting clear, testable requirements and user stories.
• Proven ability to break down features into structured epics, stories, and acceptance criteria.
• Comfortable analysing technical documentation (e.g. APIs, data flows, system dependencies).
• Skilled in collaborating with developers and QA to ensure technical feasibility and clarity.
• Experience working in Agile teams and participating in sprint ceremonies and backlog refinement.
• Confident facilitating workshops, stakeholder interviews, and requirement walkthroughs.
• Proficient in JIRA, Confluence, and visual modelling tools.
• Strong communication skills for engaging both business and technical stakeholders.
• Familiar with data models and basic SQL or querying tools for validation and analysis.
• Detail-oriented with a structured approach to documentation, traceability, and delivery support.
