WHY BOX NEEDS YOU

Box's partner ecosystem is one of our most powerful growth levers — and we're looking for someone hungry to help build it. As a Senior Manager for AI Partnerships, you'll be on the front lines of identifying and activating the next wave of technology partners, from early-stage startups to emerging AI companies, and getting them to build on and integrate with Box. This is a high-visibility, high-impact role for someone who wants to build relationships across the AI landscape, launch innovative partnerships, and scale an ecosystem.

You'll join a team that moves fast, thinks creatively, and genuinely loves what they do. If you're the kind of person who gets energized by engaging with people, loves learning about new technology, and wants to be the one who finds the next great Box partner before anyone else does — this role was built for you.

WHAT YOU'LL DO

  • Proactively identify and build a pipeline of prospective technology partners, including early-stage startups, AI companies, and emerging software providers.
  • Own the end-to-end engagement with partners, from recruitment through to launch, and build strategies to scale across categories.
  • Engage and excite new partners by clearly articulating Box's value proposition and the mutual opportunity of a technical integration.
  • Learn and communicate Box's technical platform capabilities to prospective partners, helping them understand how to build on Box's APIs and ecosystem.
  • Manage a high volume of partner conversations simultaneously, moving prospects through the pipeline from first contact to a live integration.
  • Collaborate with senior partnership leaders and cross-functional teams to identify areas of value for the Box platform and support the broader ecosystem strategy.
  • Track partner outreach activity, pipeline , and key metrics to maintain visibility and accountability across the team.

WHO YOU ARE

We are an AI-first company. This means you approach your work with a growth mindset and find ways to leverage AI to help make faster, smarter decisions that will 10X your impact at Box.

3+ years of experience in business development, partnerships, sales, marketing, solutions engineering, customer success, product management, or a related externally-facing role.

Excited to engage with a high-volume of partners across a variety of sectors, adapting with agility to different use cases and company types.

Genuinely curious about technology and can learn technical concepts quickly, engaging confidently with developer-focused or product-minded partners.

Gregarious, energetic, and thrive when building new relationships — you know how to represent a company professionally and make a strong first impression.

Scrappy and self-directed, able to articulate your strategy, build your own lists, prioritize your own outreach, and figure things out independently without a fully defined playbook.

Excited about the world of partnerships and ecosystem building, and you're looking for a role where you can grow into a seasoned BD or partnerships professional.
