Finance & Accounting Intern

Brewer Science, Inc. is a major innovator of high-technology solutions for the semiconductor / microelectronics markets. We are currently seeking a purpose-driven candidate with an ownership mentality to fill an open position as a Finance & Accounting Intern (part-time, 15-20 hours per week). This position will be in Rolla, MO.

Summary

The Finance & Accounting Intern will support both the Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable functions while helping ensure invoices are processed accurately and in a timely manner. This individual will maintain organized and accurate financial records and provide analytical and administrative support to the Finance team.

Responsibilities

• Assist with coordinating global Accounts Receivable and Accounts Payable activities.
• Perform Accounts Payable duties, including retrieving and sorting office mail, scanning invoices, filing documents, reviewing unmatched purchase order (PO) reports, closing purchase orders when appropriate, and completing other assigned tasks.
• Perform Accounts Receivable duties, including processing daily invoices, following up on credit card payments, completing credit applications and new customer forms, and completing other assigned tasks.
• Enter W-9 information for new suppliers into Oracle to support accurate supplier setup and maintenance.
• Assist with the month-end close process for all global companies to help ensure accuracy, timeliness, and compliance with company policies and regulatory requirements.
• Participate in Brewer Science, Inc. internship program activities.

Credentials and Education

Pursuing a bachelor's degree or master's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, or related program.
