Billing Operations Lead - Atlanta

Atlanta, GA In person Full-time

MHS is seeking a Billing Operations Lead with 5+ years of experience to drive operational improvements, modernize billing processes, and help build a more efficient, scalable billing function. This senior-level, hands-on role combines technical billing expertise with operational leadership, focusing on systems optimization, automation, reporting, internal controls, documentation, and training to improve accuracy, consistency, and overall billing performance. Approximately 40% of the position involves hands-on billing for an assigned portfolio, keeping the Lead closely connected to daily workflows, client requirements, and opportunities for improvement.

The Billing Operations Lead will collaborate closely with the Billing Manager, billing team, attorneys, and Firm leadership to develop and implement operational improvements. This is a senior operational and technical leadership role focused on improving billing processes, systems, and performance, rather than personnel management.
