Senior Associate, Project Manager – Volunteer Experience & Enablement

The Opportunity

Our Community Impact and Investment team is executing a multiyear transformation to align business strategy with social impact. Sitting within the Associate Activation team—a group dedicated to fostering a culture of service by meeting associates where they are—this role focuses on maximizing the impact of our associate support channels and tech capabilities. You will directly support the team by optimizing processes and experiences on our Volunteer Impact Portal, representing our team's vision to product and tech partners, managing engagement networks, and expanding our giving programs.

Key Responsibilities

• Tech & Product Representation: Serve as the voice of Associate Enablement to product and tech teams, ensuring business requirements and associate user experience needs are integrated into the Volunteer Impact Portal development roadmap.
• Community Champions & Support Channels: Grow and evolve the enterprise-wide Community Champions program, and manage associate support channels.
• Associate Donations Program: Help scope, design, and determine feasibility of an associate donations program.
• Feedback Loops & Needs Assessment: Build active feedback mechanisms across support channels to surface platform pain points and continuously improve enablement tools.

Basic Qualifications

High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent certification.

At least 1 year of experience in project management, program management, or process management.

Preferred Qualifications

Bachelor's Degree or military experience.

2+ years of experience in project management, program management, or process management.

Experience working with enterprise-wide tech platforms or digital enablement tools

The minimum and maximum full-time annual salaries for this role are listed below, by location. Please note that this salary information is solely for candidates hired to perform work within one of these locations, and refers to the amount Capital One is willing to pay at the time of this posting. Salaries for part-time roles will be prorated based upon the agreed upon number of hours to be regularly worked.

McLean, VA: $96,500 - $110,100 for Sr. Project Manager

Richmond, VA: $87,700 - $100,100 for Sr. Project Manager

Candidates hired to work in other locations will be subject to the pay range associated with that location, and the actual annualized salary amount offered to any candidate at the time of hire will be reflected solely in the candidate’s offer letter.

This role is also eligible to earn performance based incentive compensation, which may include cash bonus(es) and/or long term incentives (LTI). Incentives could be discretionary or non discretionary depending on the plan.
