Your contribution will be

Providing inspiring, inclusive and transparent leadership of FOUR PAWS Germany, contributing to organisational strategy, culture and performance together with the Deputy Director Germany

Leading and directly managing national programme, advocacy, campaign and communications activities, implementing the global strategic objectives in the country to drive meaningful animal welfare change locally and globally

Serving as the primary spokesperson and representative of FOUR PAWS Germany, building relationships with political decision-makers, partners, media and other key stakeholders

Fostering a strong ONE FOUR PAWS culture, strengthening collaboration across national and international teams, and ensuring shared accountability for organisational success

Leading, motivating and developing the Leadership Team, promoting employee wellbeing, directly managing the Deputy Director Germany and ensuring effective leadership across fundraising, finance, people, administration and other support functions through the Deputy Director

Overseeing the planning and delivery of national plans, budgets and organisational objectives, using data, insights and innovation to drive performance, manage risk and support strategic decision-making

Representing FOUR PAWS Germany and work closely with the international line management and the governance structures to ensure strategic priorities and organisational performance while keeping to the organisational governance model

Your profile ideally illustrates

• Successful track record in senior leadership roles within Civil Society (international experience is an advantage), advocacy-driven organisations or purpose-led businesses
• Strong experience in programme delivery, advocacy and campaigning
• Convincing and empowering leader with a collaborative, values-driven leadership style
• Experience in translating strategy into operational priorities and organisational impact
• Strong stakeholder management and representation skills across political, public and partnership environments
• Demonstrated success in leading and developing high-performing, diverse teams
• Confident decision-maker with a strategic, solution-oriented and hands-on mindset
• Excellent communication, influencing and relationship-building skills
• Fluency in German and English
• Passion for animal welfare and FOUR PAWS' vision and mission
