Professional Liability Partner

The Los Angeles office of Kaufman Dolowich, a full-service National Law firm with more than 250 attorneys across 16 offices and over 25 practice areas, is actively seeking a Professional Liability Partner to join their growing practice group.

This is an exciting opportunity for a motivated attorney with a strong background in labor and employment defense litigation to step into a leadership role within a nationally recognized firm. The ideal candidate will bring strategic litigation experience, strong leadership and mentoring capabilities, and a commitment to exceptional client service. Portable business will be considered but is not required.

Responsibilities

Lead, expand and oversee the Professional Liability practice

Handle complex defense matters through all phases of litigation

Develop and maintain relationships with insurers, insured professionals, brokers, and clients

Mentor and supervise associates and business professionals

Drive business development, marketing, and cross-selling initiatives

Collaborate with firm leadership and related practice groups on strategic growth opportunities

Admission to the California State Bar required

10+ years of professional liability defense experience

Strong litigation, leadership, client management, and business development skills

Experience representing insurers and/or insured professionals preferred

Base Salary Range: $200,000-$300,000
