Catch22 exists to help build a society where everyone has a good place to live, good people around them, and a fulfilling purpose. We call these our '3Ps'.
We achieve this in two ways. Firstly, we improve lives on the frontline through delivery of public services. Secondly, we use our knowledge to change 'the system', to fix the complex web that can trap and disempower those it was set up to help. With the heart of a charity and the mindset of a business, we are uniquely placed to deliver on this challenging agenda.
As Assistant Director of Operations, you are a senior operational leader accountable for translating Catch22’s strategy into safe, high-quality, financially sustainable and impactful delivery across a complex portfolio within the Safer Futures Hub.
The Safer Futures Hub brings together Catch22’s specialist services that support victims of crime and young people affected by exploitation, violence, missing episodes and vulnerability. Through community, hospital and custody-based interventions, the hub provides support at critical moments to prevent harm, increase safety, strengthen victims’ access to their entitlements and create pathways to positive futures.
This role is expected to hold the following portfolio
County Lines Support Service
Steps
Kent CE
Pan Merseyside Missing & Exploitation
You hold end-to-end responsibility for performance, quality, financial sustainability and risk, maintaining clear grip on delivery while contributing to the wider Senior Leadership and Expert Leader community to drive Mission 2030 outcomes, innovation and system reform.
You lead with autonomy and professional judgement, setting clear direction, using data, insight and service user voice to prioritise resources, and intervening early where quality, safety, outcomes or finances are at risk.
You drive continuous improvement across the portfolio, leading service redesign and digital transformation to scale effective approaches and develop more evidence-led, digitally enabled models of support for victims, young people and communities.
You build strong strategic partnerships, influencing commissioners and sector partners to shape integrated pathways, place-based models and whole-system responses aligned to Catch22’s reform agenda.
Your focus is on turning strategy into consistent practice and measurable impact, building capability through your managers, embedding learning into delivery, and escalating insight, risks and recommendations to inform organisational decision-making.
