As the founding hardware engineer, you will own the hardware from the next board revision through production, helping shape a product designed for use on the move. WHAT YOU'LL DO - Improve PCB layout, power, RF, size, reliability, and cost across upcoming hardware revisions. - Take prototype hardware toward production by developing manufacturing, testing, supplier, and assembly processes. - Identify and resolve issues during board bring-up, real-world testing, and manufacturing. - Own hardware decisions and the quality of each device that ships.
WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR - Typically 2 to 7 years of experience, with a track record of personally designing PCBs that shipped in a real product. - Experience with compact wearables, IoT devices, or consumer electronics is especially relevant. - Experience taking hardware from prototype to production, including layout, power, RF, testing, suppliers, and assembly. - Early-career engineers with strong fundamentals and demonstrated ability to work quickly with AI tools may also be a fit. - A hands-on approach and interest in owning design, testing, and manufacturing work end to end.
