ABOUT THE ROLE Join an engineering team developing AI-assisted tools for circuit board design and manufacturing. You will own customer hardware projects and collaborate closely with software and machine learning engineers to improve how electronic products are designed and built. WHAT YOU'LL DO - Own two to four client projects at a time, from requirements gathering through manufacturing. - Design boards for applications such as motor controllers, compute carriers, RF and antenna systems, battery management, and high-speed interfaces. - Work directly with customers to understand constraints and deliver practical design solutions. - Build internal tools and automation to improve hardware design productivity. - Collaborate with layout specialists, firmware engineers, and manufacturing partners.
WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR - At least one year of electrical engineering experience, including hardware shipped to production and hands-on PCB design. - Experience with PCB design tools such as KiCad, Altium, Cadence, or LTspice. - A portfolio of personal PCB or hardware projects that demonstrates design complexity and execution. - Experience across multiple areas such as high-speed digital, power electronics, antennas, BGA fanout, motor control, compute carriers, RF, battery management, or high-speed interfaces. - Experience owning client projects from requirements through manufacturing, working directly with customers, and collaborating across hardware, firmware, and manufacturing teams. - Experience building tools or automation to improve hardware design workflows. - Curiosity about generative AI and experience with AI-assisted coding tools are useful. - A hands-on maker mindset and interest in improving established design processes.
